Sea Kayak Experience - Full Day

Overview:

The full day kayak adventure in Cape Broyle begins with an exploration of the inner harbour allowing paddlers to get comfortable and find their groove before heading into the more exposed conditions of the outer harbour and if weather conditions allow, the headlands of the bay. After exploring the inner harbour and the outer reaches of the southern side of Cape Broyle, a lunch break can be taken at Lance Cove as long as conditions permit safe landings. A lunch here will allow for the paddlers to get ashore, stretch, fuel up and provide a photo opportunity as you overlook Cape Broyle harbour. From this point wildlife and weather conditions will dictate where our adventure goes. No groups will leave the bay and head into exposed waters. There are many features to explore throughout the outer harbour and the paddlers will find exciting routes around sea stacks and caves.  Note: approaching these features is to be determined by the guides after an assessment of safety is made.

Throughout the outer harbour, paddlers may be fortunate to see a variety of wildlife including possibilities of various species of whales, tuna and seals, as well as sea turtles, and porpoise. Our eagle-eyed adventurers may even spot the elusive, and highly admired Puffin.
as they pass by Cape Broyle harbour. Sights along the full day adventure include waterfalls, caves, sea stacks, headlands, pocket beaches and a visit to the mouth of the harbour which provides a view of the open sea from a little boat!  Not to be missed!
